THE PRINCE IBRAHIMA AND ISABELLA FREEDOM FOUNDATION (PIIFF) is a non profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States of America.  The foundation functions publicly as a charitable, scientific and educational corporation.

The foundation’s mission is to promote  the incredible legacy of Prince Ibrahima (Abduhl-Rahaman) and Isabella Sori-Mawdho by providing  programming and services to those populations that have been adversely affected by the legacy of the transatlantic slave trade. 

The Foundation fulfills its mission by concentrating its efforts in the following areas:

1)    Healthcare Delivery

2)    Education and Prevention

3)    National Policy

4)    Human Rights Advocacy

5)    Community Development

6)    Public Awareness

 

The Foundation works with governments, educational institutions, corporations and foundations to promote fundamental change within underserved and marginalized communities in both Africa and the United States.

The Foundation places a special emphasis on the research, conservation, and preservation of historic landmarks and genealogical records related to the slave trade.
