Imagine a world where a child has
to walk 5 miles to school on bare foot, with torn clothes and empty hands. A
world where children are eager to learn but they lack the most basic
supplies needed for school such as clothes, shoes, pencils, and notebooks.
In Liberia West Africa this is a reality for thousands of children. Liberia
is a country recovering from a 14 years brutal civil war that left thousands
of people dead and even more displaced, orphaned and living in extreme
poverty. Hope and smiles for Liberia wants to bring hope to these children
by providing them with the basic supplies needed for school. We believe that
children who are educated will have a chance of becoming successful and
productive adults. The only hope for many of these orphaned and displaced
children is a good education, which will allow then to possibly rise up out
of the extreme poverty. If you are interested in helping these children rise
